Planetary Conditioning (Edinburgh, 20th February 2003) In January of 1987 I had the experience, that would reveal to me the basics of Human Design. And aside from the fact that it was a rather bizarre experience, and a rather painful one as well as one that, was obviously fascinating. When you come out of such an experience, and it was very intensive, it lasted eight days, I didn’t eat, I didn’t drink, I was in a very peculiar state – my first response was depression. I was living wild and I didn’t have anything. I hadn’t seen money in my hand in nearly four years, hadn’t talked to a human being in over two years, and I was sitting under a fig tree and I was thinking about the madness of what I had just experienced. And I have a black sense of humor and I had this funny feeling. that this was not something that I was ever going to tell anyone about. The idea that I would stand up – as I have done for 15 years, and gone through the process of saying to people “A Voice told me how everything works...”, that is a perfect state of madness. What disturbed me was that it seemed logical. After all, I was simply shown the matrix. I was shown the configuration. I can remember the experience of drawing, the Bodygraph for the first time and putting, the numbers in place and all of these things, under instruction was very bizarre. The nature of that Bodygraph and thinking about it, I thought, well, I didn’t have anything else to do. I might as well take a look and see myself. And that was quite a process for me. The “ruina” where I had the experience, the man who lived there was an English poet. And he dabbled in all kinds of things. He had been a personal assistant to Krishnamurti for many years. He was fluent in Sanskrit. Very strange man. And he had many books in his ruina and some of the books were astrological. And I knew very little about astrology. It was only a few years before that I found out that I was an Aries; I had no idea about any of it. And so I went through this laborious process - and it was inaccurate, by the way - of trying to figure out what my design was; it wasn’t like there was a computer program and all that stuff. And I was not familiar with all that. When I finally got to see my design, I kept on thinking about how static it was; it was just this fixed blueprint. And I had yet to have the time and experience to be able, to recognize what that blueprint was saying to me; I had no idea what it was really saying to me. I had a very rudimentary understanding of what I was looking at. And the only thing I could think of was well I'm really going to, understand how this works unless I could see this thing in motion. How does this very static, 2-dimensional graphic become alive? And it was obvious to me that if all of this, in fact, was based on programming that we receive from planetary objects – and I was told in my experience that function through the agency of neutrinos with mass, which science would ultimately. prove was correct – then the only way that I could see my life was in the flow. To see my life in time, as it moved moment by moment. And by being able to grasp that, or chart that, to be able to find out whether any of this was anything more, than sheer madness. You cannot have an experience like that, and assume that it’s correct or true. It’s madness, after all. I was as crazy as they come. People were terrified of me. I was really wild. I had no idea at that point whether any of this was anything more, than some kind of mad, brain breakdown of some kind. Some weird form of schizophrenia or whatever. Being smart is a handicap when you have a mystical experience! And being as rational as I am really a problem. when you have a mystical experience, because your brain’s in there saying ‘that was pure. schizophrenia’. Had it not been for the logic of Human Design, I never would have told anybody anything. It would have been my private moment of madness, and I would have gone about my business of staying wild and enjoying it. Because that’s my design. ​ Ra Uru Hu.

China and Oil It's like oil. I mean China. China has a huge appetite right now. I mean on a fascinating level apart from the fact, Which are the most amazing pollutants in the world, They suck energy from the planet, At a pace you can not imagine, And traded this oil reserves, You know I mean. Easily within ten years you will have $ 100 a barrel, And it's getting worse I mean there are a lot of things that are all moving in the same direction, At the same time to the same place, And so about all this business, We will detail and we will know how to handle things, And we'll know how to fix things, And we will know how to exchange things, There is nothing on this planet that is going to replace oil. is nothing. There are little things that will do it, And you know it's not. You know, it's not like any genius will appear in the next ten years, And say you have it, We have something new. We must not, it's not in the plan. I mean it's not in the program. You know that's one of the things I've been saying to people for years, That we have now you know we have 22 years left to get answers, By the way if we do not get all the answers, It's not like we fail any test, It's just hard luck, I mean, it's not like the program cares, We have already done the job that is, We have an extraordinary level of potential consciousness on this planet. The self-reflected consciousness has evolved to the point where you know that such transformations are possible, And possible in so many places in the world today, But this whole thing of looking at the world we are in, And to see that there is some kind of continuity to which we are advancing, forget it. A New Art Form What fascinates me is there's a new art form, that’s going to come into the world. I don’t mean to sound so mystical, but it’s true. There is an art form, that is going to come into the world, that is strictly related to this particular awareness. Each awareness brings its own artistic potential, and here we're going to have something else. This awareness spirit, this spirit awareness, and this spirit awareness operating, through the potential of what the Right brings, which is this deep, deep, receptivity. ​ Ra Uru Hu.

The Human Experiential Way The Human Experiential Way: When I look at my encounter and the revelation of Human Design, one of those unasked questions is why that wasn’t there in 1781. Because so much of what's possible now wasn't possible then, and most of that has to do with what's going on in the Solar Plexus Center. Basically this Pluto. interregnum is changing something that is really fundamental, something that you don't see colored in here. This movement here is the human experiential way, and it’s been a subject of a number of things, that I have talked about relative to the transformation that we are going through. The human experiential way has been impacted by the transiting of Pluto as Pluto moves through the wheel. And remember that Pluto was in the 41st gate in 1781, the initiating codon and it’s again going to be in the 41st gate in 2027. So, we’re really getting into this Pluto interregnum. One of the ways in which we are so deeply impacted on this plane by the emotional field is that the human experiential way travels through the emotional plane. That is, it is a stream that operates through and has the Solar Plexus Center as its core. Everything about the human experiential way, that is, this movement from the initiating codon in its fantasy, that fantasy that becomes a desire, that desire that becomes a very, very powerful urge that ultimately can be fulfilled through manifesting. That it is along this human experiential way that everything about the nature of life has been determined; that is, life as far as we understand it. And it’s been determined rooted in the emotionality of the Solar Plexus system. ​ Ra Uru Hu.

The Wave Motion The Wave Motion: And when I say its emotionality, what I’m really referring to is its wave context. The thing that makes the emotional motor so powerful is its wave motion. That wave motion, by the way, is something that originates in the 6th gate. That is,the various waves that are there, the crash wave of the abstract process, the planing wave of the individual process, the ratcheting wave of tribal process, they’re all rooted in the 6th gate. That’s where they come from. What we’re dealing with is that the Solar Plexus system is made up of various components, the gates as we refer to them. But each of these gates has a different relationship to the layers that are there in the Solar Plexus. We have a surface layer of the Solar Plexus that is really just about the motor. In other words, it’s the basic motor function, one of our four motors that are here in Human Design, that the wave is the motor function itself; nothing more, nothing less. This is the motor. And of course, it’s the motor that’s so distorting. And because human beings give reasons to chemistry, that motor that operates in the wave leads to the way in which human beings, are going to project on the way in which they look at the world, depending on where they are in their particular wave, give a reason to it, get attached to it and then go the way that most emotional beings go. They go the path of suffering, the suffering that even when they're going up they realize, based on experience, that they will have to go down and slowly but surely even the going up loses its magic; the motor becomes something that is so deeply, potentially deeply distorting in the life. Fulfilling Our Cognitive Potential Until we have awareness in these three areas we do not reach our cognitive potential. This is what we’re all about, is to get to that place of being able to fulfill our cognitive potential. This gate of spirit, once it is stripped of the motor wave, this becomes a unique force of spirit awareness, this unique awareness that measures differently. Everything is about measurement. We live in a duality, so everything is a “this and that”, everything is a measurement. The Spleen measures in certain ways. We can simplify it by saying healthy or not healthy; I recognize it, I don’t recognize it, the immune system doing its work. Here in the Ajna Center we have a very different way of doing that, the concretized way that we have through our mental apparatus, that has evolved over all of these thousands of years. This is really new, a different way of being cognitive. And because it's part of the Solar Plexus system, and because the wave is going to remain, motor function is going to remain, that this is an awareness that travels differently. Here you smell and you taste (Spleen). Here you see (Ajna). But here, here it’s something else. Through the wave, through carrying along on the wave, this is an awareness that penetrates at a different level; it penetrates into the substance, the energy fields that are there that we do not yet have tools for. And then we’re finally going to have the real fulfillment of nine-centered potential. We’re very limited. Limitation is really an amazing thing. Your eyes can only see what they see. You don’t see neutrinos. You don’t see gamma rays. You don’t see all kinds of things because you’re not designed to see them. And not being designed to see them means that you don’t have any way of assessing them other than theoretically. We have a whole new set of information that’s being made available to us as a cognitive creature. It’s a whole new set of information, very profound in its own way, more complex than either of its predecessors, subtler than they are, more sensitive than they are, and with the power to be deeply trans-auric in that they ride on the wave, that they take in so much and they take it in in the right sense. ​ Ra Uru Hu.

The 49th Gate: The Ratchet Wave Now here, here is the real story. The 49th gate is the gate of Revolution. I like to call it Abraham’s gate, because it’s the gate of the butcher. It’s the gate of the sacrificed and the sacrificer. It is the gate of principles. It’s the gate of the fear of God. It is the gate that is the doorway to acceptance into the tribe. The 49th gate carries an enormous influence in our lives, because we have been dominated now for 400 years, by the global cycle of the Cross of Planning, and the channel 40/37 at its core. And that channel 40/37, this channel of community, the rest of that, this tribal stream begins in the 19, that pressure of need that flows from the 49 through to the 37/40, this tribal stream. And because we're living in this era this has great power. It is also the controller of our resources, as we found out when Neptune in its transit of the 49 brought, such disarray to the world financial system, still is having its impact on the world financial system. The Breakdown of a Cross-Special Connection Now, it’s going to have an impact at many levels. This connection here operates in many ways. This is one of the mammalian connections. Human beings have three different ways in which they can connect to mammals. Mammals do not have a Solar Plexus System. Human beings can have the 49, mammals can have the 19. This is a cross-speciel connection. In the same way that humans can have the 22 and if a mammal has the 12, it’s a crossspeciel connection. The same thing is true for the 62. Humans can have the 17—mammals do not have a neo-cortex—mammals the 62; a cross-speciel connection. We have three of these connections with the mammalian world, but this one is very significant because this is where we domesticate animals. It is our basic bargain with the animals that we control for slaughter. And this is going to break down. That relationship is no longer going to work. We're going to have much more difficulty in being able to control mammal, populations in order to cull them and use them for our food chain. Of course, that’s going to operate at many levels. Not just at the physical level but at psychological level. It’s like seeing the rise of vegetarianism in the advanced world, and all of this is a byproduct of the pressures that have been here in this channel, that have been going on for hundreds of years now. And it’s about to burst in that sense. So, this theme of domestication of animals, one of the things that I postulate because I honestly don’t know, we domesticate animals in many ways, and I think that we’re going to have a lot more, resistance from even our household pets. Our pets generally are on this line here. That is, this is the social channel of individuality. It’s a way to make friends with strangers. This is a place where mammals and humans originally met, this social bond that came across. But these mammals that have basically been bred for slaughter, there is going to be a real problem that arises in that. The problem itself may not necessarily manifest by an Animal Farm scenario, because I doubt that very much, but it certainly may result in diseases impacting our controlled herds, and ultimately those diseases being devastating to our food chain in the sense that, we will no longer be able to take advantage of it. It’scertainly one of the things that is going to be there. ​ Ra Uru Hu.

Community I mean there has never been a greater bondage in the history of mankind, This deal of security comes from the community, And out of that confidence comes from the community, We have all the things that have their roots in 40/37, Which is my tribes better than your tribe, My governments are better than yours, My gods are better than your God, My business is better than your business, And all the things that go with it, And from 1615 to 2027, We are stuck in the deepest material period in the history of mankind. There has never been such an emphasis on materialism, And it's not our fault that it's not that there are good and bad guys in the materialism business, That Pope John Paul, who collects dog shit, is better than Bill Gates who will leave a million, It's not about that, It's about understanding that we're all in the yin and yang of it, And of what spectrum is we all, We were caught in the material wheel and did not think it was going to be a great relief when it disappeared, because it is not. But still, that's what the 40/37 brought us. Now that you think of the thirty-seventh gate as a key, Think of the lock that opens this deep need, Because he needed the gate of the thirty-seventh, This deep need for community infrastructure has become our spirit, And the same spirit through the twenty-fifth gate, the twenty-fifth gate, It is the gate of the priest and the priestess. You know it's the blood gate, it's the gate of the sacrament, And so much of what we've seen in the last four centuries, Is that this whole search has linked us deep, deep, to old tribal myths. We have never lived in a more religious time, ever, I mean, ever, I mean it's one of the things that scares me so much, I mean, I'm not religious, you know, I mean I'm talking about religion. I'm not talking about spirituality. I'm not talking about mysticism. I'm not talking about magic. I'm talking about institutions. It's like a home movie with the Pope. What film. This stinking old institution. Thousands of years, you know, and it's this institution that's going down. You see the moment we move away from a flowing imprint, Through every person on earth, That you can not escape that we lock ourselves into this tribal configuration, When it comes out the window all these institutions will start to crumble, They will not be sustainable. It's not going to be us even wanting. I'm going to think about it. We are not naturally built as human beings to get along with each other so well. I mean after all institutions are artificial ways of maintaining peace, I mean that's what they're doing. It's a way to control the killer monkeys, in our cruelty. See, I have, It's very hard to find a way to impress myself, Not of what it is to be human, And see the ugliness, and the pain, that such a period has brought so much. The very necessity for reproduction, Create so many people, He's not about the excuses people come up with that he has to do with poverty, And they need more children, Either they have no contraception, or they do not know it, If they do not know it, it is not true. We live in an age where reproduction is an issue that is sucked through everyone. The tribe cannot survive without it. Power to the people. Well, you need the people, And the 40/37 demands more and more and more and more of them, More and more workers to build the temples, To keep the temples kneel in the temples. I mean, you know this is one of the jokes, The more people you get in the bureaucracy. You know it's just going on and on, but this is our age. Any person carrying the 25th gate. I carried the 25th gate. You know I'm a lock that allows this key. I mean, I'm responsible for maintaining this issue of materialism, Like everyone else even more in some cases, And you know you're paying a lot of money for me and all that stuff. I'm not poor, all that stuff. We live in an age of materialism and it is coming to an end. Good thing, man, that's going to be in 2027, You know, because I can hang my shingles, You know and just kind of retire, watch, watch the wheel spin, And that we see within the whole nature of materialism 40/37, That one of the things in the tribe is that they are always the ones who are not allowed to come to the table, And we live in a world where so much is forbidden to come to the table, Then we think there are villains and we look to blame. You know it's their fault, it's your fault you know, Let's change the political system, Let's change the leadership, Let's change the spirit of humanity. You can not do it. It's like someone tells you, You need to change, You know, slapping them for saying that. What the hell are they talking about, No one changes. We are what we are. That's what it's going to be, Whatever it's going to be, And garlic raging against the wind, Not going to stop this curtain from falling, Nothing, nothing. When looking at the 40th gate, The 40th gate is the opposition to the 37th gate, And the 40th gate is connected to 46, And remember that the 46th gate. Gate 46 is over the whole body, and it is the body like the temple. This is the place and this whole body is the temple that one of the things to see on the 40th Gate, The 40th gate is a gate of denial. It's a gate of God's denial, It's a gate of denial of the value of friendship relationships, Of all these things and yet, Of course when it's tied to gate 37, You get this whole community structure. But think about the connection to the 46th gate, Which is on the body, And one of the things to understand is that the body deteriorates at a very fast rate, And one of the first things that came with this cycle was what we call medicine. When we did a concrete and base and chain look, You know I talked about this phenomenon of you know that integration makes things happen, You know once you have two things, And you bring them closer together after having a quantum effect, And that the quantum is the hole that is larger than the sum of its parts, And one of the things to see about the nature of the mutation, Remember that when we entered the cycle in 1615, We were already in the process of opening up to the mutation. In 1781 we had the appearance of the ninth in the center, You know this is the beginning of the mutation, Leading through the realization of this transition that is going to take place after 2027, And this is also one of the things that should be seen about us as human beings, is that since 1781, We no longer had at the deepest level of our genetic imprint a future ahead of us, And there was a slow deterioration in the immune system and when you think about it holistically, Think of it this way, In 1781 when our body temperatures began to rise, We began to pollute the environment in a way that was never done. Electromagnetic So here is what is called electromagnetic. Now, electromagnetic is when you have a gate at one end of the channel and the other person has the gate at the other end of the channel. In other words you both are missing that aspect. And because we are built on receptors – that’s something where this 59 is always interested in 6s and this 6 is always interested in 59s. There’s a hook. When the two of them meet and step into each others aura, what happens is that we get an electromagnetic definition, that is we get a wiring between these two centers. Electromagnetic is ATTRACTION AND REPULSION. It’s BOTH. We live in a dualistic construct, in the yin and yang, the DNA and the RNA. The electromagnetic is the attraction that pulls you to somebody. You go `Oh, oh, oh.’ You step into that aura and you go `Ah, that’s what I want at the other end. ’The other one at the other end says `Oh, oh, oh I want that at the other end’. And then they come together and within an hour, a week, a month, at some point that thing that they have over there, that they thought was so great, - Jesus, it’s a pain. Attraction and repulsion, and it never stays one or the other. It fluctuates back and forth. That thing that you thought was so sexy or terrific, all of a sudden is NOT. You have to understand the joke that you’ve got hard wiring over here and there are 1,069 I think, possibilities that are at the other end. That’s a lot of variety. And even though this was `oh, oh, oh,’ at the beginning, there is also this variety that is out there that this example is not the definitive example of. The electromagnetic connection is very strong and can be very powerful in a relationship - this attraction field – repulsion field. You love to hate them, you hate to love them. All that stuff is rooted in the electromagnetic. Ra Uru Hu.

7 And 2 Work To Go 7 and 2 work to do. The work to do is that if you are a 7 and 2 relationship, and here you can see that this relationship is a single definition, and so it is a fully integrated relationship and if you look at this you can see that there are two centers open. The moment you have two centers open, it means that the couple can end up having different interests that ultimately send them apart from each other. So the moment this kind of relationship has a problem, one partner goes out this window and one partner goes out that window. These are partnerships where partners learn how to escape each other most of the time. And they escape each other most of the time with their particular interest. ’No. Sorry, I’ve gotta work’ or ’I’ve gotta do this thing’ or blah blah blah, whatever the case may be. There is a window they go out of in order to NOT get into this. The other side of that again, by the way, if I’m talking about the not-self, every single one of these mechanics is a negative. At some level or another it’s going to bring out negatives because there’s no understanding and ultimately without understanding in relationships – all you get is a power trip. However the power trip is played out, male/female roles, all that stuff, it’s just that. It’s a power trip and it’s cruel because there’s nothing to change. Anybody who wants to change you, is the enemy. You know, this is not what existence is about, we are NOT here to be changed by somebody. We are here to be ourselves. We are not here to obey somebody else’s demands because they have a specific need to mold our life in a certain way to satisfy themselves. We forget all that. All of that is real insanity. This is all power trip stuff. See, this is mechanics. We are helpless in these mechanics. It’s not like you can do anything about this, that this one is going to go out here and that one’s going to go there. But if the bond between them is healthy and aware, this will be part of their relationship. Yes, they do have these separate interests but these separate interests aren’t separating them because it isn’t an issue. That one is over here and the other one is over there. It’s not `You are over there to avoid me’ or `You are over there to be away from me’. Because it isn’t. It’s just what this kind of relationship offers. You can see that the mechanics is very simple –it just gives you the basic formulas. The 9 and 0s have to be totally locked in. So you have to see that there has to be a fundamental dynamic in your design, that this is part of what your cognitive exploration is on this plane – so deeply connected to another human being to take in that deep experience of the other. You can see that in the 8 and 1 you have something very different. What you have is the beginning of this kind of generational interest field. This window is open for couples to go out into the world to join others, to do things and all that stuff. You know, to be involved with each other at that level to gain that appreciation of each other. Obviously there are very positive things in that. The same thing here. You have to see that at the not-self level these dynamics create all the dilemmas that are there. It’s the foundation of them. These are not beings that entered relationships correctly, they find themselves in a 7 and 2. They may not be built for that. Just because they end up in it, doesn’t mean it was meant for them, they didn’t enter into it correctly. And they may end up with somebody who is REALLY into that and the relationship is going to be problematic. Happy Valentine’s Day! Never mind. My sense of humor. Ra Uru Hu.

A Population Crash Yet, at the same time I witness the phenomena that you get to see in so many countries, how difficult it is becoming. We are headed towards a population crash, one that certainly is going to be very powerful in the sense that, we already have major reductions that are a byproduct of the social dynamics we live in. Most of the tribes of Europe do not produce enough children to maintain their societies. At the rate right now of childbirth in Spain, in another 80 or 90 years Spaniards are going to be a minority on their own peninsula, because they simply do not produce enough children. All of the tribes are producing fewer than two being the replacement necessary for the two adults. So many places it’s 1.2 or 1.5 or 1.6. So, you have this diminishment that is taking place. What is happening here though, this underlying thematic that is here in the 55-59 is something that is really beginning to gain strength. Now, the change is actually only going to take place when we get beyond 2027, when this becomes the keynotes to the background frequency, when this is the way in which the whole plane is being impacted. But something to understand about the nature of intimacy is that intimacy is going to lose its passion. If you think about that in reproductive terms we've already seen that, in vitro births and surrogate mothers and all these kinds of things, that are beginning to appear in and around the whole fertility issue that this is an underlying theme that is here. ​ Ra Uru Hu.
